About Us
At Jump Up, we understand. Many of us have been exactly where you are now, feeling frightened, isolated, or unsure where to turn. We know the pain, confusion, and fear that can come from living with or leaving domestic abuse.
That is why we have created a warm, welcoming drop in centre, open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, where you can come for a chat, a cup of tea, and the chance to breathe. No judgement, no pressure, just understanding, compassion, and the support you deserve.
Our friendly team is here to listen and support you as you begin to find your way forward. Whether you need emotional support, gentle guidance, or time with one of our experienced therapeutic practitioners, we will walk alongside you at your own pace. We focus on healing, restoring confidence, and helping you reconnect with your inner strength. Sometimes that means talking things through, and sometimes it simply means sitting quietly, feeling heard, and not being alone.
To book an appointment, please drop us an email and a member of our team will get back to you.
Because you do not have to go through this alone.
Jump Up, helping women, men, and children heal, rebuild confidence, and move forward with strength and hope.

My Story – Why I Created Jump Up
There was a time when I lost everything — my home, my safety, my confidence.
I left a violent relationship, fought through the courts, and tried to rebuild my life with my young son. For a while, I thought I’d found love again — someone who understood struggle and loss. But behind the charm was addiction, chaos, and violence.
I watched everything I’d worked for fall apart.
There were moments I didn’t think I could go on.
I felt broken, ashamed, and alone.
But I kept fighting — for my son, for myself, and for the life we both deserved.
Through that journey, I discovered how hard it is to find real, human support — somewhere safe to talk, cry, ask questions, and rebuild from the ground up. That’s why I created Jump Up: a place for women and children to feel safe, seen, and supported.
This isn’t a charity built from theory — it’s built from lived experience.
From someone who knows what it’s like to lose everything, and what it takes to rise again.
Because no woman should have to face that journey alone.
Jump Up – where healing begins, one cup of tea at a time.
