How We Can Help
At Jump Up, we’re here to support women and children affected by domestic abuse — whether you’re still in a difficult situation, thinking about leaving, or rebuilding your life afterwards.
You don’t have to face this alone. Our team of trained volunteers and expert partners are here to listen, guide, and help you take each step safely and confidently.

Emotional Support
Sometimes you just need someone to listen — really listen. Our friendly team offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk freely and be heard without judgement. Whether you need to cry, think things through, or share your story over a cup of tea, we’re here.
One-to-One Advice
We offer private one-to-one sessions where you can discuss your situation in confidence. Together, we’ll explore your options, help you understand your rights, and work out what feels right for you.
Legal Guidance
We work closely with trusted legal professionals who can provide free advice on issues such as:
- Non-molestation and protection orders
- Child custody and family law
- Housing and financial rights
- Divorce and separation
Our team can help with paperwork, explain your options in plain language, and connect you with the right legal support.
Safety Planning
If you need to leave or are worried about your safety, we’ll help you think through your next steps. That might include:
- Creating a personal safety plan (locks, phone safety, safe contacts)
- Accessing support for you and your children
Support for Children & Young People
We know domestic abuse affects the whole family. Our centre offers a welcoming, child-friendly environment where children can feel safe and supported. We also connect families with specialist youth counsellors and services designed to help young people understand and heal.
